WFH PIANO TEACHER in Adelaide, South Australia
Casual Position $40.00-50.00 per teaching hour plus superannuation*

Teach one-on-one private piano lessons from your own home.

Students may range from young children to adults.
Communicate with students, parents, and team members.
Teach after school hours on weekdays, Saturdays, and during school holidays.
Casual position with opportunity to reach up to 30 teaching hours per week within 12 months**.
*Example: 30 teaching hours per week at $42 = $1,260 per week, plus 12% superannuation on top… That’s $73,382 annually!
**Depending on your preference and availability, we can assign you more/less work.

We are currently prioritising applications from teachers located within 10–15 minutes of Marden, Campbelltown, Rostrevor, Brompton, and surrounding suburbs, but all Adelaide applicants are welcome.

WHAT WE OFFER

An employment contract - that’s right! No, you’re not a contractor. No, you do not need an ABN. And YES, we pay superannuation!
Competitive and ethical pay package - think $40-50 per teaching hour, get paid for student cancellations, superannuation on top of your pay, paid staff meeting/training, and annual pay reviews.
Job and income stability - we’re an established studio since 2019, with consistent flow of students who commit long term (100-150 student intake per year; up to 7 years commitment).
Training and support - our teachers are provided with online training resources, in-house trainings, and regular team meetings.
Admin support - we take care of most of the admin work for you… things like marketing, scheduling, invoicing, and enforcing policies.
Work from Home - teach from the comfort of your own home studio. No driving between students. No fuel costs. No traffic.
And of course… the occasional lunch and coffee!

you are…

Fun-loving, open-minded, and enthusiastic - you must be keen to help others the piano, and be open to explore non-traditional teaching approaches.
Proficient on the piano - you don’t have to be a virtuoso or have a diploma in music, but you need to be able to play at a level high enough to teach beginners.
Able to work independently - you will be teaching from your own home studio without supervision. For child safety reasons, you must be at least 18 years old.
A reliable team player - our team keep in touch on a daily basis as required, and you must be willing to take part in team meetings to discuss and share ideas.
Able to teach from your own home - students will come to your home studio for lessons; you will not be required to travel to students.
Teaching experience or music related qualifications not required, but will be looked upon favourably.
Australian citizen or permanent resident preferred.
