About the Role: We are seeking a Prison and Records Management Specialist to assist in the day-to-day operation of the reception discharge function of the prison including prisoner records, property and clothing ensuring all electronic and paper-based recording systems are up to date and accurate. This role will involve weekend work and public holidays. Some of your duties will include:
Assisting in the day-to-day operation of the reception discharge function of the prison including prisoner records, property and clothing
Entering prisoner records and property data in relevant electronic and paper-based record keeping systems in an accurate and timely manner
Preparing relevant documentation relating to prisoner transfer, classification, release, court appearances, bails and fines
About You: As an ideal candidate, you will possess knowledge of OH&S manual handling processes and practices and Corrections Victoria policies and practices relating to reception and discharge operations.
