Role: Lead / Principal Full-Stack Engineer
About the Role:
We're looking for a rare hybrid: someone who can architect at the whiteboard in the morning and ship production code in the afternoon. This is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone who has built things in startups, knows how ERP/SaaS ecosystems actually work in practice, and can lead a legacy-to-modern migration without losing a single week of uptime.
What You'll Do:
• Design and drive cloud architecture on AWS, covering scalability, security, and cost optimisation across our infrastructure.
• Lead migrations of legacy systems to modern architectures with minimal disruption to business operations.
• Write production code across our stack — PHP, Node.js, Flutter, and JavaScript — as an active individual contributor, not just a reviewer.
• Own code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimisation across services.
• Architect and maintain ERP integrations and workflows, understanding both the technical and business logic behind them.
• Set up and improve DevOps pipelines, CI/CD, containerization, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Champion Agile delivery, keeping large-scale projects on time and within budget.
• Build in cybersecurity best practices from day one — secure coding, infrastructure hardening, access controls.
• Mentor engineers while staying close enough to the code to lead by example.
What We're Looking For:
• Proven experience in a startup environment — comfortable with ambiguity, fast iteration, and wearing multiple hats.
• Strong full-stack development skills in PHP, Node.js, Flutter, JavaScript, or equivalent modern frameworks.
• Solid hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, VPC, etc.) and cloud architecture planning.
• Familiarity with DevOps tooling (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring/observability stacks).
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and how to apply them across the stack.
• Experience delivering large, complex projects on schedule and within budget.
• A genuine willingness to stay hands-on — this role is not purely managerial.
