About the role:

The Contracts Manager will be responsible for the contract management, procurement and legal agreements required to enable the Community Pharmacist Program.

This position will have overall contract management responsibility and accountability for coordinating the various contracts and agreements, including the agreements with individual pharmacies, IT and training providers and other services required.

In addition, this position will be required to manage and maintain stakeholder relationships to support the delivery of the Program including with departmental support teams and external providers.

Are you?

Able to manage and oversee the full life cycle of contracts and agreements to meet departmental objectives
Provide leadership, guidance and authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet and agency submissions on complex matters
Identify emerging issues, risk and trends impacting on the successful achievement of key business objectives and imperatives and provide high quality business intelligence and sound recommendations based on comprehensive research and investigations.

Pro-actively build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach.
Formulate compliance and evaluation strategies to address specific issues related to the effective provision and implementation of required outcomes.
Qualifications

Appropriate tertiary qualification or commensurate experience in health, social sciences or relevant public policy area and government contractual or procurement experience.
