Job Description
• Obtain and negotiate Ocean Freight and Air Freight rates from shipping lines, airlines, NVOCCs, co-loaders and overseas agents.
• Prepare accurate and competitive import/export freight quotations for customers and the sales team.
• Handle pricing requests, RFQs and customer-specific rate requirements within defined timelines.
• Calculate complete freight costs including:
• Ocean/Air Freight
• Origin charges
• Destination charges
• Documentation charges
• Transportation
• THC and other applicable surcharges
• Maintain and regularly update carrier rate sheets, tariff sheets and pricing databases.
