Preschool Lead Teacher
Job Description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to inspire young learners and foster a nurturing, engaging classroom environment. Responsibilities
Develop and execute innovative lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards, incorporating curriculum development, literacy education, math, physical education, and social skills.
Create a warm, inclusive classroom environment that supports children’s individual needs and promotes positive behavior management.
Utilize learning technology and instructional design strategies to enhance student engagement and facilitate effective teaching experiences.
Collaborate with colleagues to design classroom activities that integrate library services, Montessori methods, or other specialized educational approaches as appropriate.
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding each child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through clear and compassionate updates.
Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining safety protocols in accordance with childcare regulations.
Support children with special needs or disabilities by implementing tailored instructional strategies and working closely with specialists in special education.
Requirements
Proven experience in preschool or early childhood education with a strong understanding of childhood development principles.
Demonstrated classroom management skills combined with effective communication skills for working with children, parents, and team members.
Knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, and assessment techniques tailored for preschool-aged children.
Familiarity with learning technology tools such as LMS (Learning Management Systems) and digital resources for instruction.
Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
Certification or credential in early childhood education or a related field; Montessori or private school experience is a plus.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
