Job Description
Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer
Role Summary:
We are seeking an experienced mechanical CAD designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision part design and documentation for CNC-machined and cast components.
• Perform simulations and tests to validate designs, create technical drawings and documentation,
• Apply GD&T per ISO, ASME Y14.5 standards to define form, fit, and function of parts
• Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to iterate on designs
• Support design reviews and provide technical input on manufacturability
• 2–7 years of hands-on experience in 2D mechanical engineering for products from prototype to production, with a primary focus on CNC machining and casting
• Proficient in SOLIDWORKS and other CAD software i.e. NX, CATIA
• Strong working knowledge of GD&T principles
• ISO or ASME Y14.5 certification is strongly preferred but not mandatory
