Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Pre-Sales Associate located in Kolkata. The Pre-Sales Associate will be responsible for engaging with potential clients, understanding their requirements, and providing tailored solutions. They will create presentations, demos, and proposals to support the sales team and ensure the successful onboarding of new clients. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with various departments to align client needs with product offerings and ensuring exceptional pre-sale service.
Key Responsibilities
• Engage with inbound and outbound leads to understand client requirements.
• Collaborate with the sales and technical teams to prepare project proposals, quotations, and presentations.
• Conduct research on client industries, competitors, and trends to support sales pitches.
• Assist in RFP/RFQ/RFI responses, documentation, and follow-ups.
• Coordinate demos, meetings, and product walkthroughs with potential clients.
• Maintain CRM data, ensuring all client interactions are recorded and up to date.
• Support the sales team in lead qualification and conversion activities.
• Communicate proactively with clients to clarify project scope and expectations.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in pre-sales, sales support, or client coordination (freshers with strong communication skills are welcome).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, research, and presentation abilities.
• Comfortable working with MS Office, Google Workspace, and CRM tools (like HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
• Basic understanding of IT services, websites, software, or digital solutions preferred.
Qualifications
• Experience in creating presentations, demos, and proposals
• Strong understanding of software and digital marketing solutions, including web development, mobile app development, and data processing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with potential clients
• Ability to work collaboratively with various departments
• Proven ability to understand client requirements and provide tailored solutions
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
• Experience in pre-sales, sales, or a related role is a plus
