Experience Required: 2–3 Years in US Mortgage Industry (Minimum 1 Year in Post Closing)
Job Overview:
GrowQ Private Limited is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Post Closing Specialist with strong knowledge of the US Mortgage Industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in the post-closing process and a clear understanding of the entire mortgage life cycle. This is a full-time, night shift role offering opportunities to work with a dynamic and growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Post Closing Tasks: Perform splitting and scrubbing of each mortgage document into the correct categories using mortgage processing software.
• Shipping Packages: Upload post-closing packages to various investor portals in line with investor guidelines.
• Loan Program Handling: Work with loan types including Conventional, FHA, and VA.
• Investor Conditions: Clear investor conditions by coordinating with internal teams and external parties.
• Condition Resolution: Collaborate with Business Partners, Underwriters, Title companies, or Borrowers to resolve outstanding conditions.
• MERS Activities: Handle MERS registration and transfer tasks as per compliance.
• Warehouse Management: Manage warehouse transitions effectively.
• Purchase Advice Analysis: Analyze Purchase Advice documents to identify profit or loss.
• Trailing Documents: Follow up with title companies for Recorded Mortgages and Final Title Policies.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Mortgage Life Cycle: Strong understanding of the complete US Mortgage process.
• Post Closing & Secondary Market: In-depth knowledge of post-closing requirements and secondary market operations.
• Document Identification: Ability to accurately identify mortgage documents including Income, Credit, Asset, Appraisal, and Compliance papers.
• Software Proficiency: Familiarity with mortgage software tools like Encompass, Point, etc., is a plus.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• MS Office Tools: Proficient in MS Outlook and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Issue Resolution: Capable of providing accurate solutions for client queries and escalations.
