Job Description
Position: Full-Time Painter
Salary: $75,000 per year
Location: 2B/20 Valediction Rd, Kings Park NSW 2148
Archewell Construction Pty Ltd is currently seeking an experienced and reliable Painter to join our team on a full-time basis.
Key Responsibilities:
-Surface preparation including sanding, filling, and priming
-Applying paints, stains, and coatings to walls, ceilings, and other surfaces
-Ensuring high-quality finishes across residential and commercial projects
-Following safety procedures and maintaining a clean work environment
-Mixing and Matching Colours: Achieving the desired colour palettes using various paint formulations.
-Applying Varnishes and Finishes: Adding protective and decorative layers to enhance the durability and appearance of surfaces.
-Decorative Finishes: Creating faux finishes, such as marble or wood grain effects.
-Covering Surfaces: Protecting surrounding areas using drop cloths, masking tape, and plastic sheets to prevent paint splatter and staining.
-Measuring and Estimating: Calculating the amount of paint and materials needed for the project.
-Working with Clients: Communicating with clients to understand their needs and ensure the desired outcome.
-Maintaining Tools and Equipment: Keeping painting tools and equipment clean and in good working condition.
-Cleaning Up: Removing paint spills, and cleanup after the job.
-Project Planning: Scheduling and organizing the painting work to complete the job on time.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a professional painter
Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
Ability to work independently and in a team
Knowledge of materials, tools, and techniques
Relevant qualifications or trade certification preferred
