Job Description: Investment Portfolio Manager
Job Title: Investment Portfolio Manager
Business Unit: Personal Banking and Wealth Management
Function: Wealth Management and Private Banking
Sub-Function: Investment Portfolio Manager – Wealth Management
Location: Mumbai
Job Description:
Investment strategy
• Define Investment strategy; asset allocation basis the prevailing market conditions
• Be up-to-date with Equity and Debt markets by going through investment reports/concalls
Product Selection
• Develop and manage the fund selection models
• Product Due diligence to understand the qualitative aspects of the products
Financial Planning and Wealth Protection
• Financial goal setting and planning and prepare investment proposals for the clients
• Asset allocation and Portfolio construction
• Portfolio review and rebalancing as and when required
• Engaging with Sales Team and help in product penetration via product and research support
Knowledge Requirement:
• Knowledge of all the Asset classes – Equity, Fixed income, Structured Products, Real Estate, FX, Commodities and International Markets
• In depth knowledge Wealth Management products - Mutual Funds, Portfolio Management Service Providers, Alternative Investment Funds and Listed Investments.
• Knowledge of taxation implications for various investment products
• Functional understanding of Research and Portfolio Software like Morning Star, Invest well, Bloomberg etc
Behavioural Skills:
• Strong analytical and interpretative skills, Integrity, Ability to establish trust, Self-driven, Team Player, Networking Ability, Ability to work under time pressure and adhere to deadlines.
Technical (Software / IT related) Skills:
• Strong on Excel sheet and Presentation skills
