This is a full-time, on-site role located in Surat. The faculty member will deliver engaging lectures, provide hands-on training, and mentor students in pattern-making and garment manufacturing technology. Responsibilities include curriculum development, lesson planning, evaluating student progress, and staying updated with the latest industry trends. The faculty will also actively participate in collaborative projects and academic events within the institution.QualificationsExpertise in garment construction, pattern-making techniques, and sewing methodologiesUnderstanding of fashion design processes and industry best practicesProficiency in creative problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skillsAbility to mentor and guide students, ensuring their academic and professional growthRelevant educational qualifications, ideally a degree or certification in fashion design or a related fieldPrevious teaching or industry experience in garment manufacturing and pattern design is highly desirableCommitment to fostering creativity and innovation in an academic settingSkills & CompetenciesStrong knowledge of pattern drafting and garment construction.Hands-on expertise with industrial sewing machines.Good communication and classroom handling skills.Qualification & ExperienceDiploma/Bachelor/Master in Fashion Design/Apparel Production.25 years of teaching or industry experience in PMT/GMT.
