As a Facilities Specialist at Wythenshawe Hospital, you'll be the go-to expert for technical support and maintenance across equipment, building systems, and utility services.Join Sodexo and be part of something greater. You belong in a team where you can act with purpose and thrive in your own way.What You’ll Do:Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of plumbing systems equipment within the hospital estate, carrying out a range of repairs and new works to a high standard. You will be responsible for the service, installation, maintenance, and testing of complex systems.Comply with all Company and Client policies and procedures, and statutory regulations, including health and safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire, COSHH. This will include your awareness of any specific hazards in your workplaceActively champion a safe and healthy environment for patients, visitors, and staffWhat You Bring:Experience repairing plant and equipment, as well as the ability to fault find, read drawings, diagnose, and repair equipment using your technical knowledge.NVQ Level 3 or Equivalent and have Building services KnowledgeAbility to keep work pace and meet deadlines, along with good organisation skillsGreat communication skills, strong teamwork, and a positive attitude Capable of working as part of a team or unsupervised, and of remaining calm under pressureWhat we offer: Working at Sodexo isn’t just a job — it’s a chance to make a difference every day.
