We have a current vacancy for a safety focused Qualified Plumber to join our team located in Warrnambool, Victoria. In this role, you will be required to work alongside a crew of like-minded tradespeople to deliver maintenance onsite.


MAIN DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES:

Setting out and installing hot and cold-water systems and associated equipment
Undertake Storm water, Sewer Installations
'Rough-In' Water and Gas services
Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems and materials required
Designing and installing sanitary plumbing and water supply systems, discharge pipes and sanitary fixtures
Assembling and installing mechanical services plant, air handling and conditioning equipment and small-bore heating systems
Installing sewerage and effluent pumping equipment and disposal systems
Installing below-ground drainage systems and associated ground support systems
Installing gas appliances, flues and pressure regulating devices
Fabricating and installing metal roofing, rainwater goods and flashings
Penetration and inground service installations
Final 'Fit off' and finishing installations with high quality work
Following standard operating procedures, safety procedures and quality control methods
Ability to read and interpret plans/drawings

SKILLS EXPERIENCES:

You must be trade qualified/ 4th year apprentice
Must have a sound knowledge of all tasks and activities related to new installations as well as a sound knowledge of the Plumbing Code and Australian standards
Gas fitting Licence (preferred not essential)
Strong experience in maintenance plumbing or similar role will be highly regarded
Self-motivated, problem solver team player
Be punctual and reliable, well organised, tidy and efficiency
Have strong interpersonal communication skills
Basic computer literacy
You must have the right to work in Australia (38 hours/week)
You have already had a Q Fever vaccination or are willing to participate in the vaccination process
