Responsibilities
You will plan and accomplish work from initial layouts to final assembly through interpreting building plans, blue prints, specification, sketches and other plumbing guides/codes
You will perform maintenance and repair of all fixtures and piping systems
You will install hot and cold water piping systems in all types of buildings using copper and wrought iron pipe
You will install water mains and sewer lines using cement plastic pipe compound for plastic pipe, septic tanks and leach lines
You will issue tools, equipment, parts, procure materials, parts and tools
You will work in the shop repairing tools, equipment, prefabing, plumbing, and piping
You will cut, thread and ream pipe, ranging in size from 1/2" to 2" in diameter
You will operate power driven pipe threading machines, sewer augers, portable pumps, air compressors, power driven abrasive cutter, drill press, grinding machines and portable drills
Must participate in the direct deposit pay program
You will be subject to call 24 hours a day, seven days a week
You may be required to lift/carry weight up to 45 pounds for short distances
