Plumber - Wetroom Fitter

ASAP

Temp to Perm with vans + fuel card supplied

Resourcing Group is working with a maintenance contractor based in Exmouth who would like to appoint 2 experienced and qualified Plumbers to join their local team. The contractor carries out a mixture of planned and responsive repairs in domestic and commercial premises, working on East Devon District Council.

This role is specifically carrying out works with in domestic properties and will involve ripping out existing bathrooms and replacing them with wet rooms as part of a disabled adaptation programme. The roles are available to start as soon as the organisation are able to find the right calibre of person to join their team.

The hours are Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm.

You are welcome to use your own van - fuel will be covered - or, the company can supply a van either/or.

Plumber Required

Pay Rate: Negotiable

Role Specific Requirements
• Required checks EL1 or EL2
• Enhanced DBS
• Due to security vetting, candidates must have at least 3 years of continuous residency within the UK.

Responsibilities
• Routine and non-routine maintenance
• Fault finding
• Identification of life-expired equipment
• Check, repair, and make good faults and life-expired equipment
• Inspections, water sampling, and risk assessment
• Mains water supply repairs
• Ensure all works are carried out to the highest safety standards and to agreed method statements
• Minimise wastage and continually improve processes
• Ensure statutory works are carried out on time and that work is compliant

Additional Information
• This role may include working at height and in all weather conditions.

Qualifications
• Full driving licence
• Appropriate trade qualification

Experience
• Maximo maintenance system experience or similar package
• Experience in operating light plant

Technical Competencies
• Gas Safe registration card
• Legionella Control (L8)
