Job Description
Responsibilities
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water softeners, pipes, fixtures, and related components using hand tools and power tools.
Conduct plumbing inspections utilizing cameras and schematics to diagnose issues accurately.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precise installation and repairs aligned with project specifications.
Perform construction plumbing tasks such as pipe threading, assembly, remodeling, and carpentry work on-site.
Use welding techniques where necessary to join metal piping or repair damaged components.
Adhere to local building codes and safety regulations during all phases of work.
Operate heavy lifting equipment safely for transporting materials and equipment around construction sites.
Maintain plumbing systems through routine inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to prevent future issues.
Utilize HVAC knowledge when working with heating or cooling water systems in commercial or residential settings.
Read schematics and technical drawings to guide installation processes accurately.
Demonstrate mechanical knowledge when diagnosing complex system failures or integrating new components into existing setups.
Ensure all work areas are clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards at all times.
Experience
Proven construction experience with a focus on plumbing installation and repair in commercial or residential settings.
Hands-on experience with construction plumbing techniques including pipe threading, assembly, remodeling, and carpentry.
Familiarity with welding processes for metal piping repairs or installations.
Experience operating plumbing inspection cameras and interpreting schematics or technical drawings.
Knowledge of local building codes related to plumbing systems and water softeners.
Mechanical aptitude with understanding of water systems, HVAC components, and schematic diagrams.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while managing construction site demands.
Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and reading blueprints accurately.
Valid driver’s license with commercial driving experience preferred for site travel or material transport.
Handyman skills such as assembly or remodeling are a plus for versatile project support.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
