EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have eight years experience as a journeyman or master plumber
Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: NONE
Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: NONE
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must hold a valid journeyman or master plumber license in Kentucky at time of employment in this job classification
Must maintain any required licensure(s), certification(s), or other credentials for the length of employment in this job classification
Employing agency is responsible for ensuring employee possesses and maintains required licensure(s), certification(s) or other credentials
Travel is required to perform inspections

This job has an initial and promotional probationary period of 6 months, except as provided in KRS 18A.111

The Division of Plumbing is responsible for conducting plumbing inspections and permitting plumbing installations to ensure compliance with the state plumbing code and the regulations of the department
Inspect all plumbing installations and report violation findings
