Job Type: Permanent, Full Time, Weekend, Day, Night, and Evening

Salary: $38.00 hourly for 30 hours per week

POSITION SUMMARY:

Plumber Apprentices will assist in delivering residential and commercial plumbing projects across the GTA. Working under the direct supervision of a licensed plumber, the ideal candidates will help with tasks such as preparing materials, installing piping systems, and supporting fixture installations. This role requires a strong willingness to learn, attention to detail, and basic mechanical skills. Successful candidates will contribute to safe, efficient, and high-quality plumbing work while gaining hands-on experience in the trade.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with installing plumbing fixtures and water supply systems in residential and commercial buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints and plumbing schematics
• Mark pipe locations and passage holes in walls and floors
• Cut openings in walls and floors for piping and fittings
• Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand or power tools
• Join pipes using clamps, couplings, bolts, soldering, or welding equipment
• Test piping systems for leaks using air or water pressure gauges
• Help estimate material requirements and prepare basic material lists
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment on job sites
• Work under the supervision of a licensed plumber and follow all safety protocols

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS REQUIRED:
• Experience: 1 year of work experience as a Plumber Apprentice
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
