Plumber and Gasfitter, Hvac technician

We are seeking a skilled Plumber / Gas fitter, or Hvac technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency. The HVAC Technician will work closely with clients to diagnose issues and provide effective solutions.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including boilers, air conditioners, and ventilation units.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on HVAC equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals.
Weld and plumb as necessary to complete installations or repairs.
Conduct appliance repair related to heating and cooling systems.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
Experience

Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical documents.
Familiarity with various HVAC systems and components.
Experience in welding and plumbing is preferred but not mandatory.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a customer-oriented approach.
