As our service division continues to expand, we are seeking a qualified and experienced Service Plumber / Gas Fitter to join our team of dedicated professionals.
Job Description:
We are currently hiring a Service Plumber / Gas Fitter with proven experience in commercial service work. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a wide range of plumbing and gas-related tasks, including preventative maintenance, system repairs, plumbing fixture installations, and emergency response services. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct preventative maintenance on plumbing and gas systems in commercial and residential buildings
• Service, replace, and repair boilers and hot water tanks in accordance with manufacturer specifications
• Install, replace, and repair zone valves, fixtures (sinks, toilets, faucets), and other plumbing components
• Utilize drain cleaning equipment including augers and inspection tools to diagnose and resolve drainage issues
• Perform water line repairs and address leaks to ensure system integrity and prevent damage
• Accurately document work performed, materials used, and recommendations through detailed reports and work orders
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company and industry standards
• Respond to after-hours and weekend emergency service requests
Qualifications:
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving abstract
• Journeyman plumbing certification
• Proficiency in writing service reports and work orders
• Ownership of standard plumbing tools (specialized equipment provided)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Availability for on-call duty outside regular business hours
• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and a customer-focused attitude
