Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Plumber role based in Jaipur. The Plumber will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, water supply lines, drainage systems, and sanitary fittings in residential and commercial properties. Daily tasks include inspecting plumbing issues, identifying faults, performing repairs or replacements, testing systems for leaks and proper function, and ensuring all work meets safety and local regulatory standards. The role involves reading and interpreting basic plans or layouts, coordinating with supervisors or site managers, preparing material lists, and keeping tools, equipment, and work areas organized. The Plumber will also interact with customers in a professional manner, explain work performed, and provide basic maintenance guidance when required.
Qualifications
Practical plumbing skills, including installation, repair, and maintenance of pipes, fixtures, valves, and drainage systems.
Ability to diagnose leaks, blockages, and other plumbing faults using appropriate tools and methods.
Understanding of basic plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices for residential and commercial work.
Physical ability to perform manual tasks, including lifting, bending, working in confined spaces, and standing for extended periods.
Basic familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in plumbing, and commitment to safe tool handling.
Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to complete work accurately and within agreed timelines.
Clear and respectful communication skills to interact with team members, supervisors, and customers.
Willingness to learn, follow instructions, and adapt to different job sites and working conditions.
Prior experience as a plumber, plumbing assistant, or relevant trade role is preferred but not mandatory.
Relevant vocational training, ITI certification, or equivalent qualification in plumbing or a related trade is an advantage.
