R2025/27 - Plant Operator/Labourer (Waste Recycling)
Full time permanent position

Wentworth Shire Council is seeking a suitable and motivated individual for the position of Plant Operator/Labourer (Waste Recycling). As a member of the team, you will be required to operate heavy plant equipment at Council’s waste management facilities, including the Buronga Landfill, as well as the transfer stations at Wentworth, Pomona and Dareton. You may also be required to undertake a range of other duties including maintaining the sites in a clean and tidy condition, litter control, cleaning and upkeep of all building sites and amenities, and some level of customer service.

The position is subject to the satisfactory completion of a three-month probation period has a commencing salary of $63,442.00 plus 12% superannuation. The successful applicant will be required to undergo a fit for work assessment along with a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.
