Location: Welshpool, WA, AU, 6106
Your new role as the Plant Mechanic for Mining Components will be reporting to the Workshop Supervisor.
About Welshpool
The Mining Components workshop at Welshpool, WA, offers cost-effective repairs for Caterpillar equipment. We specialise in certified powertrain components, and custom solutions, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.
Location: Welshpool
Roster - 5Days On, 2Days Off - DAYS ONLY
What you'll do:
Overhaul various Caterpillar components including engines, transmissions, differentials and final drives.
Inspect and measure internal parts against reusability guidelines.
Complete component overhauls in accordance with Caterpillar specifications and company procedures.
Accurately complete inspection and quality control documentation.
Actively participate in maintaining a safe and innovative workplace.
Skills & Experience:
Heavy Vehicle or Plant Mechanic Trade Qualification
Experience working on mobile plant and components
Experience with Caterpillar Systems (ET, SIS, VIMS) - desirable
Dedication to a safe working environment and quality work for our customers
Ability to work within a team & autonomously
