Job Description
Csafe seeks a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team as a Plant Maintenance Technician. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine equipment maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making on-site repairs when needed to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
Responsibilities:
• Scheduled Maintenance: Plan and undertake scheduled maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and reduce downtime.
• Routine Maintenance Work: Perform routine maintenance work, including carrying out repairs and replacements as needed.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve equipment faults using systematic cause analysis techniques.
• New Part Installation: Fit new parts and ensure equipment is working correctly.
• Staff Supervision: Supervise engineering and technical staff as required.
• Procurement: Obtain specialist components, fixtures, or fittings as needed.
• Maintenance Cost Control: Monitor and control maintenance costs to optimize budget efficiency.
• Record Keeping: Maintain statistical and financial records of maintenance activities.
• Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation.
• Maintenance Procedure Development: Create maintenance procedures to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
• Supply Management: Manage stocks of supplies and equipment.
• Technical Support and Training: Provide technical support and training on new equipment.
• Maintenance Tool Management: Control maintenance tools, stores, and equipment.
Requirements:
• Degree in Electrical Engineering: Hold a diploma or degree in electrical engineering.
• Electrical License: Having an electrical license is an additional advantage.
• Advanced Knowledge: Possess advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and heating systems.
• System Schematic Reading: Ability to read system schematics.
• Troubleshooting Skills: Advanced troubleshooting skills.
• Safety and Equipment Procedures: Understanding of safety and equipment procedures.
• Communication and Training Skills: Good communication and training skills.
• Heavy Equipment Operation: Ability to work with heavy equipment's.
