Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and experienced Plant Maintenance Engineer to join our team at DCS Group. As a Plant Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and ensuring optimal plant performance. This is a mid-level position requiring 4 to 6 years of experience. The job is based in Jaipur, Rajasthan, India, and the employment type is Full-Time.
Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
4 to 6 years of experience in plant maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Experience in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing plant equipment.
Familiarity with safety standards, regulations, and maintenance protocols.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and maintenance management systems.
Certifications in plant maintenance and reliability, such as CMRP, are a plus.
Roles And Responsibilities
Carry out routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs of plant equipment to ensure operational efficiency and minimize downtime.
Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with plant equipment, such as mechanical, electrical, and control system problems.
Plan and execute maintenance activities, including equipment overhauls, replacements, and upgrades.
Develop and implement maintenance procedures and protocols to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Monitor plant performance and identify opportunities for improvement, cost reduction, and energy efficiency.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and quality assurance, to optimize plant operations and meet production goals.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment logs, and inventory records.
Train and mentor junior maintenance staff to develop technical skills and knowledge.
Stay updated with the latest industry advancements and best practices in plant maintenance to drive continuous improvement.
