Join a growing aerospace organization supporting advanced space and electronics manufacturing programs. This cross-functional role supports production planning, material management, configuration and document management (CADM), Controlled Goods Program (CGP) compliance, and general administrative operations. The position plays an important role in maintaining organized operations, regulatory compliance, and efficient coordination across multiple departments.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning and Material Management
Generate and release production work orders in the MES system
Coordinate material readiness for production builds
Track material shortages, kit status, and inventory availability
Maintain planning trackers including build schedules and work order status
Coordinate planning information between engineering, production, supply chain, and program management
Ensure work orders reference CADM-released documentation
Configuration and Document Management (CADM)
Administer the document and configuration management system
Maintain the controlled document registry and revision history
Coordinate intake and tracking of customer drawing revisions
Ensure only released documentation is available for production use
Maintain configuration traceability in accordance with AS9100 requirements
Controlled Goods Program (CGP) – Designated Official
Serve as the company Designated Official for Canada's Controlled Goods Program
Maintain CGP registration and compliance documentation
Conduct employee security assessments and maintain records
Maintain CGP training records and visitor control logs
Support regulatory compliance and CGP audits
General Administrative Assistance
Provide administrative support to operations, engineering, and program management teams
Prepare and format internal documents, reports, and presentations
Maintain organized records, trackers, and shared documentation
Assist with preparation of customer documentation packages and internal reports
Qualifications/Education
Diploma or degree in Business Administration, Engineering Technology, Supply Chain, or related field
3+ years experience in operations support, planning coordination, document control, or administration
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience in aerospace, electronics manufacturing, or regulated industries is an asset
Ability to successfully obtain and retain registration and approval under the Controlled Goods Program in accordance with the Defence Production Act and Controlled Goods Regulations
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: $55,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
