Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and personable Pizza Cook/ Cashier/Supervisor to join our team at our 'Tiny but Tough' Delivery and Take-Out location in Renfrew.

Acme Pizza Co. is a popular artisanal pizza concept, started in Calgary in 2022, that is looking to expand to several locations over the next few years.

We are currently looking for an individual to join our team to help lead services at our second location in Renfrew, working independantly as well as leading a small team, to help maintain and grow quality levels and revenues with a focus on quality of product and customer-care.

Responsibilities:

- Prepping food items, cooking pizzas and other menu items to Acme Pizza Co. standards

- Taking customer orders, using the TouchBistro POS system, manage third-party delivery apps, taking payments

- Ensure the kitchen area and public area is clean and sanitized at all times

- Manage a small team of Pizza Cooks and Cashiers (maximum 2-3 other people at any given time), when not working independantly

- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed

- Collaborate with the kitchen and management team to provide excellent service

- Key holder with ability to open and close the pizza kitchen independantly.

Experience:

- Minimum 3 years experience making pizza in a commercial kitchen and 2 years experience in a culinary supervisory role preferred.

- Previous experience working with the public, preferably with experience using TouchBistro or similar POS system as well as credit card payment systems.

- Food safety certificate and knowledge of food safety practices and procedures

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to work efficiently independently as well as comfortable leading and working with a small team.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

- Familiarity with Microsoft Office softwre, such as Word and Excel are a bonus

- Strong communication skills and ability to work comfortably with the public

- The ability to problem solve on the fly; solution-based thinking.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
