Pipe Layer/Labourer

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a skilled Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing underground pipelines that transport water, sewage, or gas. **Responsibilities:** - Lay out pipe routes following specifications - Dig trenches with hand tools or machinery - Align and position pipes to prepare them for welding or sealing - Check slopes for conformance to requirements using levels or lasers - Connect pipes and seal joints using welding equipment, cement, or glue - Cover pipes with earth or other materials - Test pipes for leaks **Qualifications:** - Experience with bucket operation and backhoe operation - Proficiency with power tools and hand tools - Mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance - Ability to weld and operate heavy equipment - Familiarity with rigging techniques - Knowledge of electrical systems in pipeline installations - Physical strength and stamina to handle labor-intensive tasks - Excellent problem-solving skills This position offers the opportunity to work on challenging projects and develop your skills in pipeline installation.
