The Project

CPB Constructors, in Alliance partnership with Sedgman, SC Joint Venture (SCJV) has been selected by BHP to undertake the Western Ridge Crusher Project, involving construction of a new primary crusher, a 12-kilometre overland conveyor, radial stacker, and associated stockpiling systems, with a capacity of 30Mtpa.. The Project is located on Nyiyaparli Country, approximately 21 Kilometres southwest of Newman, in the Pilbara region of Western Australia. Works are commencing now and will go through until mid-2026.

Your opportunity

Join CPB Contractors as a full-time employee and contribute to the success of one of Australia's largest contractors. Engage with industry leaders from project start-up, working on a fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) basis with a balanced 20 days on and 8 days off schedule.

We have opportunities for experienced Pipe fitters, to join our team.

Our Minimum Requirements For This Role Are

Certificate MEM3031+ Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade
EWP Scissor lift ticket
Completed Fire Extinguisher Training (PUAWER008B or CPPFES2005A or MSAPMOHS212A)
Ability to read Isometric drawings and use a pipe threading machine
Conduct flange management
Proven experience within the construction or mining industry
Flexibility adaptability to changing environments
Strong safety awareness
