Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing enterprise network environments across multiple sites
CCNA certification
Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure such as switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls
Experience installing and troubleshooting ethernet and voice cabling
Strong communication skills for working with internal stakeholders and outside vendors

Responsibilities
Deploy, configure, and maintain physical and virtual network infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless access points and bridges, firewalls, and security camera systems
Monitor network infrastructure logs to identify performance, security, and operational concerns
Integrate mobile device management (MDM) tools with network access control (NAC) policies and enterprise wireless authentication protocols
Evaluate and recommend emerging networking technologies to improve efficiency, strengthen security, and reduce costs
Lead network infrastructure projects from planning through execution, including scheduling, risk assessment, and cost analysis
Partner with end users and leadership to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues
Maintain and periodically test disaster recovery plans for the network environment
Create and maintain clear, up-to-date documentation of network infrastructure
Apply scripting and automation tools (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to streamline deployment, configuration, and repetitive tasks
Track network capacity trends, manage hardware/software lifecycle planning, and oversee vendor and ISP relationships and SLAs

About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a growing IT team supporting a multi-site healthcare organization. This role blends hands-on network design and implementation with day-to-day infrastructure support, giving the right candidate real input into the technology direction of an enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deploy, configure, and maintain physical and virtual network infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless access points and bridges, firewalls, and security camera systems
• Monitor network infrastructure logs to identify performance, security, and operational concerns

Requirements:
• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise network environments across multiple sites
• CCNA certification
• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and supporting network infrastructure such as switches, routers, wireless access points, and firewalls
• Experience installing and troubleshooting ethernet and voice cabling
• Strong communication skills for working with internal stakeholders and outside vendors

Preferred:
• CCNP certification
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree
• Background in an MSP or IT consulting environment
• Familiarity with CUCM or comparable voice systems
