Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Pilates Instructor to join our fitness team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging Pilates classes tailored to a diverse clientele, promoting physical well-being, and ensuring a safe and motivating environment. The successful applicant will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and sports coaching principles, enabling them to personalise sessions effectively.
Duties
Lead group and one-on-one Pilates classes, ensuring exercises are performed safely and correctly
Develop customised workout plans based on individual client needs and fitness levels
Provide clear instructions and demonstrations to guide clients through exercises
Monitor clients’ form during sessions, offering modifications or adjustments as necessary
Educate clients on proper breathing techniques and body alignment
Maintain a clean and organised studio environment, ensuring equipment is sanitised after use
Track client progress and provide feedback to support their fitness journey
Stay updated with the latest Pilates techniques and industry best practices through ongoing professional development
Qualifications
Proven experience in sports coaching or fitness instruction, preferably with Pilates certification
Strong teaching skills with the ability to motivate and engage clients of all ages and abilities
In-depth knowledge of human anatomy relevant to Pilates exercises
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain techniques clearly and effectively
Organised, reliable, and professional in approach
Passionate about promoting health and wellness through specialised exercise programmes
