We are seeking a passionate and experienced Piano Faculty Member to join our dynamic music department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in piano performance and teaching, with the ability to inspire students of diverse ages and skill levels. Duties & Responsibilities
Provide individualized piano instruction for students of all ages, adapting lessons to their skill level and learning goals.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
Prepare students for recitals, exams, and competitions as needed.
Organize recitals, masterclasses, and workshops to enhance student engagement and performance skills.
Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects involving theater, dance, musical theatre, and other arts to enrich the educational experience.
Maintain a professional environment that promotes musical exploration, discipline, and artistic growth.
Participate in faculty meetings, curriculum development initiatives, and ongoing professional development activities.
Qualifications
Proven experience in higher education teaching or university-level instruction in piano or music performance.
Strong knowledge of music theory.
Familiarity with platforms like Zoom.
Experience with research in music education or digital design is advantageous.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and backgrounds in classroom or private lesson settings.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for fostering creativity through innovative teaching methods.
Strong organizational skills and commitment to supporting student success.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $42.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
