Physiotherapist

Overview

We are seeking a Physiotherapist to join our team. This role offers an opportunity to grow a case load of active patients in a growing community. The Physiotherapist will collaborate with medical professionals to deliver high-quality rehabilitative services tailored to individual patient needs.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients’ physical conditions and mobility limitations
Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on patient evaluations and medical histories
Assist patients in improving movement, strength, and coordination through therapeutic exercises and modalities
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly
Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, management, and home exercise programs
Document all patient interactions, treatments, and progress notes accurately in medical records
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive patient care
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment in compliance with healthcare standards
Requirements

Valid license or registration as a Physiotherapist on PEI
Graduate from a recognized physiotherapy program
MSK private practice an asset
Bilingual French and English an asset
