Responsibilities-
Creative Vision: Demonstrating an eye for composition, lighting, and capturing the essence of a moment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with different camera systems, lenses, and lighting setups.
Post-Production Expertise: Fluency in photo editing software like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
Client Communication: Ability to understand client needs, collaborate effectively, and deliver images that meet expectations.
Project Management: Organizing photo shoots, managing schedules, and ensuring timely delivery.
Specific duties may vary depending on the photography niche (e.g., event, portrait, product, commercial):
Pre-Production:
Consulting with clients to understand project goals and creative direction
Scouting locations and planning shot lists
Setting up lighting and equipment
Briefing models or subjects on posing and expression
During the Shoot:
Capturing high-quality images with attention to detail
Adjusting camera settings based on lighting conditions
Directing subjects to achieve desired results
Maintaining a professional demeanor during shoots
Post-Production:
Importing and organizing digital images
Editing photos using color correction, retouching, and enhancement tools
Selecting the best images for delivery
Creating digital galleries for client review
Delivering final images in specified formats
Essential skills to include:
Photography Techniques: Understanding of aperture, shutter speed, ISO, composition rules, lighting techniques
Digital Workflow: Proficiency in image file management, backup procedures
Software Skills: Expertise in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other relevant editing tools
Communication Skills: Effective interaction with clients, models, and other team members
Adaptability: Ability to work in various environments and adjust to changing conditions
