KINYARA HEALTH

Job Description

Kinyara Health is a business with a unique mission: to keep personal, local care alive for ageing Australians and people living with disability - helping individuals find their forever home care within one of our remarkable, community‑founded brands across New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia.

In the face of significant industry reform, we’ve doubled down on this commitment. As a result, Kinyara has grown at pace - expanding into the hearts and homes of more Australians, while staying true to the local care that defines us.

Our growing group operates through a distinctive service model, where long‑established community businesses (some with legacies of up to 45 years) have their histories and connections honoured. These local teams are supported by shared services and a technology‑forward approach that strengthens consistency and sustainability - without ever compromising client experience or community connection.

Through growth and transition, we remain deeply anchored to our purpose, quality standards and culture - creating an environment that attracts thoughtful, capable people who are motivated to do meaningful work and make a genuine impact.

About The Role

This is a high-volume, phone-based sales role where you’ll turn conversations into meaningful outcomes for older Australians and their families.

As a Phone Sales Consultant, you’ll work with warm leads - connecting with people who are exploring aged care for the first time or looking to change providers. Many of these conversations happen at moments of uncertainty or transition, so your ability to listen, guide and build trust quickly is key.

You’ll take the time to understand each client’s situation, clarify their needs, and confidently guide them toward the right home care solution - helping them make informed decisions and take the next step.

This role is more than sales - it’s about supporting people through change and helping them access the care they need to live well at home. You’ll work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, managing your pipeline and progressing clients with clarity, empathy, and confidence.

Responsibilities include:

Making high-volume outbound calls to warm aged care enquiries
Building trust quickly with clients and their families, often in sensitive situations
Understanding needs, clarifying options, and guiding clients to the right care solution
Progressing conversations to clear outcomes (bookings, onboarding, next steps)
Managing your pipeline end-to-end and prioritising across a large client load
Handling complex conversations with empathy, professionalism, and confidence
Working closely with internal teams to ensure smooth client transitions into care
Keeping accurate records of client interactions and outcomes
Location: This role is based in Melbourne. You can work from any of our offices -Tullamarine, Balaclava or Carrum Downs - at least one day per week, with WFH supported.

About You

You’re deeply motivated by purpose and bring a genuine desire to help others. You have the confidence to engage with clients during moments of change and guide them through important decisions.

You thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and can quickly absorb information and apply it in real conversations. You know how to build trust over the phone, read the situation, and move things forward with clarity and confidence.

You balance empathy with outcomes - understanding each client's needs and guiding them toward the right solution.

You’re proactive, resilient, and comfortable managing multiple priorities, with the drive to continue learning and growing within a supportive, mission-driven team.

Our ideal candidate will also bring:

Experience in outbound, cold call, or high-volume sales environments
Strong pipeline management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
A proven ability to balance empathy with results in a target-driven role
Confidence handling fast-paced, high-pressure situations with professionalism
Exposure to aged care, disability, health, or community services (highly regarded)
Formal qualifications aren’t essential – what matters most is your attitude, drive and heart
Other role requirements:

Australian working rights.
Driver licence
Background check: NDIS Worker Screening Check or National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)

About The Good Stuff

Flexible working arrangements - designed to support how you work and live
Consistent, high-quality lead flow so you have the volume to succeed
Real impact - helping older Australians access care at critical moments
Exposure to a multi-state, fast-moving environment with real complexity and variety
Join a growing organisation that has scaled rapidly, offering stability during a time of sector reform
Supportive, down-to-earth team that values both outcomes and client experience
Clear opportunity to grow within a high-growth, purpose-led organisation

About The Process

Our process includes an initial phone screen, interviews with key stakeholders, and a psychometric assessment to support the process.

We aim to keep things transparent and well-paced, with clear communication throughout.

Apply now and join us on the journey to shaping the future of Australian home care.
