We are currently seeking licensed Community Pharmacy Technicians to teach in our CCAPP-accredited Pharmacy Technician Program!
Instructors at Stenberg College are professionals in the field who are committed to enhancing the student learning experience by sharing their real-world experience with our students.
Location: Surrey, BC
Employment Type: Part-Time Contract as a Sessional Instructor
What You Will Be Doing:
This individual will be responsible for the delivery of dynamic and engaging labs by using appropriate teaching and learning techniques within the college's policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Instructors are required to work a minimum of 2 lab shifts per week during the lab blocks listed below:
Schedule:
Community Lab Operations and Dispensing:
• June 30-July 25, 2025: 3-9pm
• August 18-September 12, 2025: 3-9pm
• September 29-October 24, 2025: 3-9pm
• November 17- December 12, 2025: 3-9pm
Compensation: $41-43/hour
Incentives:
• Reimbursement of annual registration fees for CPBC upon completion of 100 lab instructional hours per cohort x 2 cohorts totaling 200 hours

Never Taught Before?
• Stenberg College invests in our instructors learning journey in adult education instructor offering our self-paced Adult Instructional Methods courses
• Detailed lesson plans created and ready to use for each lesson.

Who You Are:
• A practicing Pharmacy Technician in British Columbia, Registered with the College of Pharmacists of BC, with a minimum of three years’ experience
• Currently practicing in community pharmacy
• Someone with sound knowledge in computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel PowerPoint) Familiarity with Kroll and Meditech would be an asset.
• An excellent communicator – both, written and verbal
• Someone who demonstrates confidence, positivity, and a strong work ethic
• Passionate about investing in students and the pharmacy industry
There is a full curriculum for each course and a thorough orientation would take place prior to stepping into the classroom or lab environments. Prior teaching experience is an asset.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 weeks
Pay: $41.00-$43.00 per hour
