Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage the dispensing of medications to patients and various hospital departments while maintaining strict adherence to Medicover Hospitals' protocols.
• Provide clear and comprehensive explanations about medications to patients and address any queries they may have with empathy and professionalism.
• Monitor and enforce stringent storage conditions to preserve medication efficacy, including temperature control and proper handling procedures.
• Proactively manage inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and ensure an adequate supply of medicines at all times.
• Regularly review stock levels and promptly remove expired or near-expiry medications from inventory in accordance with Medicover Hospitals' guidelines.
• Collaborate closely with the stores assistant to streamline pharmacy operations and ensure seamless workflow according to the duty chart.
• Conduct thorough and regular stock audits to uphold accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Implement robust security measures to safeguard pharmaceutical stocks and maintain confidentiality of sensitive documents and reports.
Requirements:
• Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proven track record in pharmacy management, ideally within a hospital or healthcare setting.
• Exceptional organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with patients, medical professionals, and pharmacy staff at Medicover Hospitals.
• Comprehensive knowledge of statutory regulations and best practices in pharmaceutical management.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy management software and familiarity with SAP or similar inventory systems is advantageous.
