Job Description:
Reliance Retail, one of India's leading retail chains, is hiring dedicated and skilled Pharmacists for their store in Sivasagar, Assam. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing professional advice on drug therapies, and maintaining high standards of compliance with pharmaceutical regulations. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work with Reliance Retail, ensuring quality healthcare products and services are delivered to customers.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately dispense prescription medications and provide detailed guidance to customers on usage, dosage, and potential side effects.
• Oversee the inventory management, ensuring an adequate supply of medicines is always available.
• Maintain updated and accurate records of all drugs and medications in line with Reliance Retail's policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide expert advice to customers on over-the-counter medications and lifestyle modifications to improve health outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all legal and company regulations, including Good Pharmacy Practice (GPP).
• Regularly perform audits to identify and remove expired or damaged medications from the inventory.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe pharmacy environment with controlled storage conditions.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and customers to resolve prescription-related issues.
• Manage customer billing, prepare reports, and maintain up-to-date patient records.
• Stay informed on new medications, changes in pharmaceutical regulations, and company policies to provide the highest level of care.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm / D.Pharm) from a recognized institution.
• 1-3 years of proven experience in a retail pharmacy setting, preferably within Reliance Retail.
• A valid pharmacist license to practice in India.
• In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products, including dosage requirements and potential interactions.
• Familiarity with pharmacy software and systems for managing prescriptions and inventory.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-friendly approach.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Thorough understanding of FDA guidelines, Drug Rules, and other relevant legal regulations.
