Job Description:
Shalby Hospitals in Ahmedabad is looking for a dedicated and experienced Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist at Shalby Hospitals, you will be responsible for dispensing medications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with NABH guidelines. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and a supportive work environment.
Responsibilities:
• Dispense medicines to patients as per prescriptions at Shalby Hospitals.
• Maintain records of returned medicines, such as those from discharged patients.
• Supply medicines according to department or ward requirements at Shalby Hospitals.
• Maintain registers for narcotics and temperature logs in compliance with NABH guidelines.
• Generate Goods Received Note (GRN) by recording received goods in the system.
• Prepare and send a list of required medicines and surgical items to the purchase department.
• Return non-moving or near-expiry medications to respective vendors.
• Perform monthly checks of medicine expiry dates.
• Segregate medicines according to the NABH list of specific medicines.
• Generate floor-wise medicine requests from the online store and coordinate with assistants to fulfill these requests.
• Prepare indents based on the shortage list and frequently prescribed medicines.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or a related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a hospital pharmacy or clinical setting, preferably at Shalby Hospitals.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in dispensing medications.
• Knowledge of NABH guidelines and compliance standards.
• Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems and maintaining records.
• Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
• Ability to manage inventory and ensure the timely availability of medicines at Shalby Hospitals.
