Responsibilities
Groom pets according to breed standards and customer specifications, including bathing, trimming, brushing, and styling.
Maintain a clean and sanitary grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly sanitized after each use.
Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners about grooming needs and preferences.
Handle pets safely and gently, demonstrating patience and compassion during grooming procedures.
Manage appointment schedules efficiently to ensure timely service delivery.
Monitor pets for signs of health issues or discomfort during grooming sessions and report concerns to pet owners or management.
Requirements
Prior experience in pet grooming is required.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with clients.
Physical ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) when handling large or heavy pets.
Compassionate attitude towards animals with patience for handling pets of all temperaments.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
