Overview I am seeking a passionate and skilled Pet Groomer assistant to join Goochie Poochie Pet Spa...The ideal candidate will have a love for animals, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. This role involves providing professional grooming services that ensure pets look and feel their best while delivering a positive experience for pet owners. Candidates should be comfortable with physical activity, including heavy lifting, and committed to maintaining high standards of care and safety.
Duties
Bathing, drying, and brushing pets to prepare for groomer
Maintaining a clean and sanitary bathing /drying area
Providing exceptional customer service by consulting with pet owners about grooming preferences and special needs
Handling pets gently and safely throughout the bathing /drying process
Managing appointment schedules efficiently to ensure timely service delivery
Experience
Prior experience working with animals
training will be provided for the right candidate
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
Ability to perform heavy lifting of pets or equipment as needed (up to 100 pounds)
Compassionate attitude towards animals
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment
