People Operations Specialist (HRO) for BangaloreWe are looking for a person who has prior experience with Employee Data Management, Workforce Management, HRO & understanding of HR processes and familiarity with WFA processesJob Location : BangaloreExp : 5-8 Years Shift Timing : 01.00 PM-10.00 PM 05 Days week (One side transport)Job Description :Basic understanding of HR processes and familiarity with WFA processesProficient in MS-Office Effective verbal and written communication skills Prior experience of Workforce Admin/HR Operations domain knowledge Manage new-hire onboarding tasks: paperwork collection, systems provisioning, and orientation scheduling - for FT team members and contingent workforceCoordinate background checks, drug screenings, and pre-employment verifications.Manage I9 program ensuring completion, retention and reverification for US team members.Maintain confidential employee files, update employment contracts and ensure HR record compliance.Support employment lifecycle changes such as transfers, employment data changes, and off-cycle changes as requested.Administer Federal, Statutory and Peloton Sponsored leaves of absences, ADA and Workers Compensation programs.Handle HR inquiriessuch as policy questions, employment record requestsvia the helpdesk ticketing system, ensuring appropriate escalation for complex matters for active and offboarded team members.Maintain JIRA helpdesk functionality and enhancements for the People Team help desk.Oversee the employee termination and offboarding process, encompassing approving workflows, sharing essential exit information, and revoking system access.Assist with HR policy rollouts and track employee acknowledgments.Support the operations of people-related programs, benefits, perks, and employment compliance.Support employee engagement programs and coordinate recognition events.Ensure the continuous creation and accurate maintenance of all People-related SOPs and documentation.Handle ad-hoc business requests for restructuring initiatives, encompassing legal obligations, severance calculations, and offboarding logistics.Prepare federal and state mandated compliance filings and reports.Develop HR metrics and dashboards covering headcount, turnover, and leave usage, as well as ad-hoc operational reports to support various business needs.Manage Unemployment Claims.Provide operational leadership across all immigration and mobility processes, stakeholders and vendors while deferring all legal strategy, advice and compliance determinations to licensed counselManage operational flow of green card cases by partnering with legal counsel and tracking milestones, without providing legal advice or interpretationOversee Pelotons H1-B lottery and filings administrative process by coordinating documentation, timelines, and communication with legal vendors and internal stakeholdersLead execution of relocation activities (domestic and international), including immigration readiness, housing, and travel logistics for transferring employees (low volume)Ensure adherence to immigration and mobility policies by tracking cases, escalating complex or sensitive issues, and managing expectations, without engaging in legal decision-making Note : Interested candidates can share their CV's directly at Sandeep.sharma72@wipro.com or Manisha.rai3@wipro.com with the subject line People Operations Specialist (HRO)for Bangalore.
