Patient Success Coordinator
Job Description
Merrickville Dentistry is seeking a Patient Success Coordinator to provide exceptional support and guidance to patients throughout their dental care experience. This fully remote position is responsible for coordinating appointments, responding to patient inquiries, supporting new patient onboarding, and maintaining accurate records while helping ensure a positive and seamless patient journey.
The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service in a patient-centered environment.
Responsibilities
Patient Support
Serve as the primary point of contact for patients via phone, email, and secure messaging platforms.
Respond to questions regarding appointments, services, office procedures, and general non-clinical inquiries.
Provide timely, professional, and compassionate customer service.
Escalate complex concerns to the appropriate team members when necessary.
Patient Success
Assist new patients with registration and onboarding processes.
Coordinate appointment scheduling, confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling.
Send appointment reminders and follow-up communications.
Monitor patient satisfaction and assist with service recovery when needed.
Care Coordination
Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic information.
Coordinate communication between patients and internal team members.
Track outstanding requests and ensure timely follow-up.
Assist with organizing patient documentation and correspondence.
Administrative Support
Perform data entry with a high degree of accuracy.
Prepare reports, patient activity summaries, and administrative documentation.
Maintain organized electronic records while ensuring confidentiality.
Support additional administrative and operational projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service, healthcare administration, dental or medical reception, scheduling, call center operations, or administrative support.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based software applications.
Preferred
Experience in a dental, medical, or healthcare setting.
Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR), dental practice management software, or CRM systems.
Experience with appointment scheduling and patient coordination.
Previous remote work experience.
