Job Description
Location: Noida Sector 63 (+pm to 6am US Shift)
Salary: up to 40,000 per month (Immediate Joiner)
Experience Required: 2-3 years in IPR laws with international exposure preferred
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IP Paralegal/US Trademarks Attorney to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in intellectual property law, particularly in filing, docketing, and prosecution of US patents, as well as handling PCT applications, Hague Convention applications, and Madrid Protocol applications. This role requires someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of handling clients effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
IP Paralegal Duties:
• Manage all aspects of filing, docketing, and prosecution for US patents.
• Prepare and file responses to Office Actions.
• Organize and manage patent portfolios.
• Handle patent term adjustments, extensions, and post-grant proceedings (e.g., IPR, ex prate reexamination).
US Trademarks Attorney Duties:
• Prepare and file trademark applications with the USPTO.
• Conduct comprehensive trademark searches and provide registrability opinions.
• Respond to Office Actions and manage oppositions and cancellations before the TTAB.
• Maintain trademark registrations, including declarations of use and renewals.
• Handle trademark infringement cases and draft cease-and-desist letters.
International Applications:
• Prepare and file PCT applications, managing national phase entries.
• Coordinate with foreign associates for compliance with local laws.
• Prepare and file applications under the Hague Agreement for design patents.
• Manage design patent portfolios and coordinate international filings.
• File international trademark applications under the Madrid Protocol.
• Manage international trademark portfolios and handle renewals and maintenance.
Qualifications:
• 2-3 years of experience in intellectual property law.
• Prior experience in client handling.
• Strong international exposure preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work night shifts.
