Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Pastry Cook to join our culinary team. Duties

Prepare a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts according to established recipes and standards.
Decorate cakes and pastries with artistic flair, utilizing various techniques and tools.
Ensure all food preparation is conducted in compliance with food safety regulations and best practices.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace, adhering to food handling guidelines.
Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredients and supplies needed for pastry production.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to create new dessert offerings and seasonal specials.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons when necessary, ensuring their satisfaction with our products.
Skills

Proficient in cake decorating techniques and artistic presentation of desserts.
Previous restaurant experience preferred, with a focus on baking or pastry preparation.
Strong knowledge of food preparation methods and cooking techniques.
Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and patrons.
Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations in the kitchen environment.
Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting, demonstrating efficiency and attention to detail.
