We are seeking a reliable Part Time Warehouse Assistant to join our dynamic team. Duties
Assist with loading and unloading goods using appropriate equipment, including forklifts where qualified.
Manage stock levels through accurate stocking, picking, and packing of items
Support shipping and receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of materials
Handle materials carefully, adhering to safety protocols, including heavy lifting when necessary
Maintain organisation within the warehouse, keeping work areas clean and safe
Assist with inventory audits to ensure accuracy and availability of materials
Skills
Proven experience in warehouse operations or related fields such as construction products
Proficiency with forklift operation (certification preferred)
Strong understanding of materials handling, stock management, and shipping & receiving procedures
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently over extended periods
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in stock control processes
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team environment
Flexibility to adapt to various tasks within the warehouse setting, demonstrating a proactive approach to safety and efficiency
Pay: £12.71 per hour
