Role Description

This is a part-time online role for tutors. Tutors will be responsible for delivering one-on-one or small-group academic support to students across various subjects, customizing lesson plans to meet individual learning needs, and monitoring progress to ensure academic goals are met. Tutors will also collaborate with parents and other educators to provide comprehensive support for each student. Flexibility and adaptability in teaching approaches are key.

Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in Education is desired
• Five years or more of teaching or tutoring experience is preferred.
• Subject matter expertise in relevant fields such as English, Mathematics, Science, test preparation (such as ACT, SAT), or other academic subjects
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and instructional skills to effectively engage with students and parents
• Experience with lesson planning, teaching techniques, and student performance evaluation
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and paces
• Enthusiasm for education, a growth-oriented mindset, and a commitment to fostering student success
