Veterinary Receptionist (Part-Time)
Mark Nelson Vets – Westerham, Kent (TN16 1DR)
Are you an experienced Veterinary Receptionist looking to join a friendly, supportive practice? We have an exciting opportunity to become part of our welcoming team at Mark Nelson Vets in Westerham.
Working Hours
Monday & Tuesday: 8:30am – 1:00pm
Every other Saturday: 8:30am – 12:00pm
You'll be joining a close-knit, experienced team consisting of 2.5 vets, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses and a part-time receptionist.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our clients and their pets, you'll play a vital role in creating a warm and professional experience from the moment they contact us. This is a busy and rewarding position, requiring excellent communication skills, organisation, and a genuine passion for providing outstanding client care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Greeting clients and their pets with a friendly, professional manner
Answering telephone calls and responding to emails
Booking appointments and managing the appointment diary
Processing payments and client invoices
Liaising with clients and supporting the clinical team
Providing exceptional customer service in a busy practice environment
About You
Previous veterinary reception experience is preferred; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.
Friendly, approachable and compassionate
Calm under pressure with excellent communication skills
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident using computer systems and multitasking in a fast-paced environment
