Job Description
POSITION PURPOSE
Join a growing international accounting practice delivering bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, and tax services throughout New Zealand, UK and Australia. This role suits an ambitious ACCA Finalist, or equivalent, ready to apply technical knowledge through genuine client engagements.
Apply your technical knowledge through genuine client engagements from your first week. Produce review-ready work that contributes directly to client outcomes. Develop practical capability under our GM's mentorship. He is an experienced FCCA with global accounting, assurance, tax, and business advisory expertise.
Take increasing ownership of assigned work while receiving structured coaching and regular technical feedback. Build broad experience across bookkeeping, financial reporting, taxation, payroll, practice systems, and client communications. Subject to satisfactory performance, the experience is intended to contribute towards ACCA Practical Experience Requirements (PER).
Demonstrate initiative, sound judgement, and continuous improvement. A formal review after three months provides an opportunity for increased responsibility, remuneration, and progression.
While advertised part-time, we would consider full-time hours for an exceptional candidate.

ROLE SCOPE AND BOUNDARIES
Key Responsibilities
Undertake general accounting activities including bookkeeping, reconciling bank accounts, and analysing general ledger accounts.
Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
Assist with preparing indirect tax returns.
Help develop budgets and cashflow forecasts for clients.
Assist with preparing year-to-date financial reports.
Assist with special projects as required and any other ad hoc duties that may arise.
Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications, Skills, And Experience
Education: ACCA Finalist (or equivalent) with at least 2 years' relevant experience.
Certifications: Xero Advisor Certification is preferred but not essential.
Attributes: Strong ownership mindset, sound judgement, strong ethics.
Communication and Teamwork: Effective English communication.
Supervision: Able to work without constant supervision.
Work Ethic: Well-organised, dependable, able to thrive in fast paced environment.
Software Proficiency: Familiar with MS Office 365 is required; exposure to SharePoint, Hubdoc, or Xero is advantageous.
Location: Able to work in-office in Jaipur
